I too received this TV as a replacement for my Samsung DLP which had a couple of boards go out. The fact that Samsung replaced it with this beautiful work of art says something. First, the touch of red is hardly noticeable. It's very easy to set up, turn it on and it asks if you are in a showroom or home and a couple of other questions(can't remember, took about 30 seconds) Ran the THX optimizer found on lucasfilm DVD's(star wars and such) and the only had to change the green level 2 notch's. The default settings are spot on but yet it offers at least 20 other advanced settings that any videophile will love.(way over my head and I'm technically literate) The picture with a standard dvd player is fantastic, I'm pretty sure the tv does some up converting but I could be making that up, no artifacts, or ghosting. The black levels are very, very, nice and solid. I use hulu(hdmi from the computer) and netflix on demand through an xbox (no cable or sat) and the picture couldn't be better. My only 1080p source is the xbox 360 and it works just as well as everything else, 6ms for gaming isn't slow, I'm not dying any more than usual (COD4,WAW)in fact I might be doing a little better. Now that my field of view is half of the battlefield 46inches @ a 9 ft viewing distance is BIG. My only complaint so far is with Anynet, I had never used it before last week and it's terribly slow. Oh well, if that's my only problem I think everything will be just fine.
